Why Choose Privacy Trees Over Fences in Cumming?
Fences provide immediate barriers but often lack height, natural beauty, and low maintenance. Privacy trees create a living green wall that grows taller over time, improves your property value, offers wildlife habitat, and requires minimal upkeep once established.
In Forsyth County’s clay-heavy soils and humid climate, the right evergreens thrive with proper planting and deliver year-round privacy—perfect for relaxing in the backyard or letting kids play without feeling exposed. Many of our clients see significant screening in just 2–3 years with fast-growing varieties.

Think About what They will Grow Into
It’s also important to consider the location and orientation of your privacy trees. Planting tall, narrow trees along a property line can provide maximum privacy with minimal impact on the rest of your yard. Alternatively, you may choose to plant a row of trees along the back of your property to create a natural barrier.
Once you’ve chosen the right trees for your space, proper planting is crucial to their success. Properly preparing the soil, choosing the right location, and providing adequate watering and care during the establishment period will help your privacy trees thrive.
Overall, privacy tree planting is a beautiful and effective way to increase privacy and enhance the beauty of your property. With careful planning and expert assistance, you can create a natural screen that provides the perfect balance of privacy and beauty.
